So, NPR's streaming the whole album if anyone wants to listen to it.

The video for the track Stylo premiered on YouTube a week ago, and it was interesting to note that the 2D animation was replaced with 3D CG. But hey, it had Bruce Willis in it. I think the remixes from off the single were better than the original.

I think I passively listened to the whole album again and again over the course of a week, and while I still like Gorillaz after all these years, I just don't feel like this is the best of their studio albums. I think Demon Days is still out on top for me.

I probably still prefer Demon Days because I prefer the "groovier" feel, but Empire Ants is a fucking jam. Gotta check out Little Dragon and see if their regular stuff is as good.

I'm undecided about the album... probably need to make it play more in the background so it can grow on me.

Watched the video for On Melancholy Hill.

Wish I understood what the story behind this album was. Like who is this Boogieman person?
